Welcome to the website of our guest house “Bij den Driek” in Opgrimbie. “Bij den Driek” is a cosy, renovated farm which is available for short-term holiday stays. We offer sleeping accommodation for up to eight people, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Opgrimbie is the jewel of the Maasland area, famous for its Royal country estate, and located at walking distance from the heathland of Maasmechelen. Cycling network junctions 52, 53 and 58 are located in the valley of the Maas river and are only a few hundred metres away from the guest house.
Relaxing, pampering, shopping and enjoying natural and cultural beauty: the Maas area offers innumerable opportunities. This is where the Maas river flows like a common thread through your holiday and where you only have to follow the rhythm of the stream.
Hop on your bicycle and explore the various ferries just across the border. Thanks to the comfortable cycling route network, you can bike alongside the water through the green valley of the Maas and through the quaint and historical villages. You prefer strapping up your hiking boots? The varied and unique landscape will have you enjoying endless walks with breathtaking views.
